4. Never leave your dog in your hot car!
For the safety of our dogs, we should know that we have to avoid leaving a dog in a car when it’s too hot.
Temperatures rise quickly on a hot day!
5. Walk your dog on cooler times of the day! (early mornings and evenings)
6. Don’t let your dog be exposed to the high sun for too long!
Dogs can get sunburns, if they are exposed to the high sun and particularly dogs like the Boston Terrier who have short fur. Vets also advise to protect dogs with the use of a sunscreen 30 SPF (or greater) kid’s stuff.
